DonJoy® IceMan Replacement Pads

My husband had a total shoulder revision. He is not a fan of ice packs that he has used in the past. His Dr recommended an iceman machine which we never heard of so thought we would purchase one. It has been a blessing. My husband actually wants it on his shoulder. The coldness takes away a lot of the burning he has. We are only on day 2 1/2 of using it. We have heard nothing but good things on the iceman machine. We would highly recommend it to any one getting surgery. Thank you so much

Easy to set up and use, and my husband loves the pain control pre-surgery! We use small water bottles that we freeze and then use instead of ice, the system retains the cold water for hours, making repeated cold therapy simple and effective!

I tried it several times prior to my shoulder replacement surgery, and it works well. Waiting to see how it works/feels after my surgery next month.

The Don Joy Ice Man Classic has been an enormous help in rehab after my total knee replacement almost two weeks ago. The consistent cooling effect is so soothing, especially after PT! My Don Joy ice machine worked well after my LTKR. I previously had an older version of the same machine that a friend gave me for my RTKR. I have to say it seemed like the connectors between the knee pad and tubing were better on the older version. The newer one occasionally popped off even after I had securely attached the connectors. So watch out for that while using as the icy water flow to the pad stops when a connector is not attached.
