New Polar pad l size VS older polar 300

My 24 year old unit thank God still works and the standard pad is 50% bigger ! New unit is a joke/unacceptable

Sterile dressing is overpriced

These are a bit pricey! Especially if using only once. Fortunately that wasn’t the case for me. Very confusing when ordering the size too. I needed one for XL knee, asked for csr help. They sent a link, the visual of the pad didn’t match the shape of my blue pad. Then I couldn’t return it because I had to open it to see the pad as it was folded up.

Now my knee replacement will be so much less painful

I had been given a Breg Polar Care Kodiak machine by the hospital after my left knee replacement and it was a HUGE benefit to healing and drug free pain control after 2 days simple tylenol was all I needed. It was stored and the insulation pad got wet somehow and molded. This new pad will make it so I can use the machine on this knee (I was able to clean and sanitize the rest of the unit) when I get my right knee replaced on a couple weeks. The insurance and hospital I will have this knee done in don't offer the cold Therapy machines...only ice packs which are not nearly as effective...I know because that is all I had on my shoulder replacements! HIGHLY RECOMMEND getting one on your own if it isn't offered or covered....it will help so much.
