DonJoy Iceman Clear3 Shoulder

I tried it several times prior to my shoulder replacement surgery, and it works well. Waiting to see how it works/feels after my surgery next month.

A must for post-op

The Don Joy Ice Man Classic has been an enormous help in rehab after my total knee replacement almost two weeks ago. The consistent cooling effect is so soothing, especially after PT! I did receive a defective pad, but they quickly air-flighted a new one overnight. I don’t think I’ve ever seen the level of customer service that
Orthobracing has; it’s top notch!

Double check the connections

My Don Joy ice machine worked well after my LTKR. I previously had an older version of the same machine that a friend gave me for my RTKR. I have to say it seemed like the connectors between the knee pad and tubing were better on the older version. The newer one occasionally popped off even after I had securely attached the connectors. So watch out for that while using as the icy water flow to the pad stops when a connector is not attached.

Saving Grace

My husband is on day 3 following shoulder replacement surgery. We have used the iceman religiously since surgery and can only say the results have been unbelievably good. HE is only experiencing a minor ache at the surgical site and we attribute it to the suppression of inflammation by this device. To be only on extra strength Tylenol starting day 3 after surgery seems unheard of. But thankfully it us our reality and we are so grateful.

Ice Machine

Great therapy machine. I am 12 weeks post knee replacement surgery. I use my ice machine at 2 times per day for 30 minutes. Amazing what it has done for the swelling post surgery. It works when follow your PT’s advice. Oh by the way I have reached 145 degrees knee bend!
